Head Covers

post-thumb

Coveralls usually cover the head. Those using gowns will use a head cover that protects the head and neck, thus providing patients with clinical treatment. The hair and hair extensions fit inside the cover of the head.

Head covers should be worn to protect the hair and scalp from possible contamination when sprays or airborne exposure is anticipated. For blood or airborne high infections, PPE Kit must include head covers as one of the protective equipments. Head covers can be worn as part of Full Barrier Precautions.
